Elevator Pitch No. 2

A reflection on the feedback you received from your last pitch
I wasn't able to post my first elevator pitch, but from reviewing my classmates videos I feel I would've made the same mistakes. I think using gestures or speaking in an upbeat manner are important to grab attention. I know I still need to work on certain areas of my pitch but I am noticing improvement the more I practice this exercise.
What did you change, based on the feedback?
As I mentioned before, I was unable to post my first elevator pitch, but I think I could use improvement in my delivery and wording of my pitch. I'll be sure to use the feedback from this post in my future endeavors.

  1. Hey Anderson,

I think that your elevator speech was pretty good and straight forward. You explained the product pretty good and even have a demonstration to let people visualize it better. The only thing I would say is to maybe do your video in a clear white background instead of showing your bed and things. Other than that I liked your speech. 2. Anderson,

I think you did a great job explaining the product. Simply holding a pair of glasses helps the viewer visualize the picture that much easier. I also didn't have to watch the video multiple times to understand what you were saying which is a good sign. The only thing I would say that takes away from the video and pitch is your background of the recording, it was somewhat distracting to watch.

  3. Hi Anderson,

Too bad you couldn't do the original elevator pitch, these are actually quite interesting to do! I like that you have a demonstration of your product. That helped to capture my interest and keep it as well. You were also very clear and straightforward. Good luck with the future one, there is not much for you to change!

  4. Hey Anderson,

I think you did an overall great job on your elevator pitch. I think you articulated your points very clearly, and it felt like it was easy for the listener to understand what you were talking about. The demonstration definitely helped, and I think it also helps to alleviate some of the nervousness of talking because at least you know you can go back to your prop if nothing else.
